Terms: 

A deposit of 5% of the final contract price will be required to be paid to the County Clerk, in the form of cashier’s check, by the high bidder for each property sold.

For Rowan County auctions, the deposit shall be made to, and held by the Rowan County Clerk, until closing.  In the event of a deposit forfeiture, the deposit shall be administered pursuant to North Carolina law.

Closing shall take place within fifteen (15) days after the auction, or within five (5) days after Upset Period ends, whichever occurs first. Title will be conveyed by Trustee’s Deed.
