Complete Resin Filter Production Machinery Plant

Emlenton, PA

Superior Adsorbents, Inc. has shut down their resin filter production facility in Emlenton, and is offering the entire package of machinery & equipment for online auction.

Machinery Package Includes:

(3) 10,000 gal Cellulose Mix Tanks – Fiberglass construction with agitators, Allen Bradley PLC controls.  Filling, blending and usage.

(2) 5,000 gal Liquid Resin Tanks – For use with melamine and phenolic resins.

(2) 5,000 gal Regrind Tanks -These tanks collect cellulose grindings from cutting, doweling and grooving operations.

(2) Vacuum Pumps – Vac-U-Max pumps deliver grindings to regrind tanks.

Cellulose Forming Machine – 24-station unit forms cellulose cylindrical filters up to 48” long, onto steel rods for further processing.

Curing Oven – Thermatron 5,000 BTU conveyor oven, CO# 33555, SN 1892. Used to cure cellulose filters prior to application of resin.

Resin Impregnator – Injects resin into cellulose filter.

(8)-Station Microwave Oven – Thermatron tunnel-type oven, approximately 40’ long, including eight (8) microwave generators, Struther-Dunn controls.  Filters are mounted to PVC rods, loaded onto conveyor, which transports filters through the oven, and back to load/unload point.

Trim Saw – Trims ends of filter cylinders to length.

Doweling Machine – Richardson Model R4000, SN 3261

Saw – Lapkam Automation – Cuts filter cylinders to shorter lengths as necessary.

Groove Cutting Machine – Cuts grooves in filter to increase surface area. Manufactured by Arrow Automation, with a built-in lathe.

Last Saw – A cut-to-length saw.

Fume Incinerator – Des Champs Technologies Model 81 MIU-592311-CBB, SN 36486, burns off fumes from operations.  Has Robinson TYPE RL blower, SN 93992, 15HP, Advanced Environmental Systems controls.

Shanklin Wrapper – Model F-1, SN F 8851. Automatic shrink wrapping machine.

Shrink Tunnel – Shanklin Model T-62, SN T-01366, with heat seal table.

Dust Collector – DCE Type DLM 2/3/15 Pulse-type baghouse dust collector, SN 93-148, indoor installation, looks new.
